Safer Internet Day

Keep your child’s browsing safer for Safer Internet Day 2023

Safer Internet Day celebrates all things browsable and click-worthy, and this year will be the 20th year that the world has marked the day.

On the 7th of February, young people, parents, carers, and those in the care of children will have the opportunity to create positive browsing habits. Get involved in the conversation using the hashtags #SaferInternetDay and #SID2023 and help sponsor a health debate on safer internet usage!

If you’re working in a school or closely with young people, this month is a great time to start thinking about your online habits. With many spending more time in front of a screen, healthy habits are essential. Safer Internet Day 2023 has put together a free-to-download set of resources designed to engage 3 to 18-year-olds.

The resources aim to put their voices at the forefront of the campaign and encourage them to use their agency in shaping the future of online safety support. That means, whether their out and about or at home on the sofa, young people can make their mark for safety.
