After a three-year hiatus, the Big School Swim is returning to England’s primary schools. The nationwide celebration will take place from the 14th to the 18th of November to encourage children to get into the water and improve their swimming skills.
Now that safety regulations due to the pandemic have been lifted, primary schools are encouraged to sign up and get involved. In 2019, when it last took place, more than 70,000 pupils from an amazing 5,733 schools participated.
Teachers across the country are encouraged to sign their schools up for the event to help demonstrate the importance of safety in and around water.
