Cycle Instructor (Casual and Apprentice options)
Cycle instructors work within our Cycle department. We offer the right candidate an opportunity to use their cycling proficiency to benefit a range of new cyclists. You’ll be passionate about coaching young people and inspiring them with your passion and knowledge of Cycling and Safe Cycling on Roads.
This is a client-facing role, so professionalism and reliability are essential. Delivering quality cycle training and developing strong working relationships with clients and the team is an important feature of this role. You will be expected to deliver other programmes offered by the First Step Cycle.

PE Coach in Schools
We are looking for a PE specialist coach with experience coaching sport or dance to young people in school environments. It’s essential that you can use your knowledge proactively in an educational environment, delivering a range of quality PE lessons, with a focus on assessment and engagement.
Candidates need to be versatile individuals, able to create an atmosphere of engagement for children across year groups with a range of ability levels. The role would be well-suited to a candidate used to working to educational aims who can prioritise lesson objectives. Your time will be split between PE delivery with First Step PE and working for our other brands at First Step Sports Group such as Kids Takeover.
This role would be ideal for someone looking for a pathway to train others as a Sports Coach.

Dance Coach in Schools
We are looking for a Dance Coach with experience teaching young people, to deliver PE in educational settings. This role has flexible hours (approx. 5-20hrs p/w) which is ideal for a candidate working in another creative enterprise. The ideal candidate will be able to teach a variety of dance styles and themes, working to deliver a quality standard of PE to the same children each term.
The role requires that you are confident with keeping young people’s progression at the centre of your teaching. You should be able to work independently as a trainer and a role model. In prioritising educational targets, you should be committed to developing participant skills and delivering on company expectations.
Sports/Dance Coach at Kids Camps
Our active sports and dance camps provide Ofsted-regulated childcare to parents in the region. We are looking for several sports and dance coaches that have experience creating engaging experiences for young people. You will be delivering a range of activities, sports, and games to children, keeping their safety at the centre of your coaching experience.
The ideal candidate must enjoy working with young people and preferably have at least 6 months of experience of coaching from internships, apprenticeships, or similar. The role requires a professional manner and reliable image to build relationships with parents and deliver on company expectations.
